Despite EA milking Battlefield for all its worth, one part of the franchise which has generally kept some credibility is Bad Company.
Incredibly, it’s now been over 7 years since we last saw a game in the Bad Company line. That, if you are not counting the DLC.
Now while Bad Company 2 did have some problems, overall it was an excellent game. The Vietnam expansion especially is one of the best DLC’s I have ever played.
With rumours of Bad Company 3 being around for far too long now, many had begun to assume that this part of the franchise was dead.
Well, apparently, Bad Company 3 is on the way. In addition, it might be with us as early as 2018. While this report, coming to us via PCGamesN, is just a rumour, it’s a rumour with a lot of substance behind it.
The rumours have emerged from YouTube account holder TheAlmightyDaq. While the name may not be familiar to you, it should be noted that he successfully predicted Battlefield 1 and in addition also in March 2016, created a video in which he successfully predicted pretty much all the key features from the game.
He has since been led to believe that Bad Company 3 might, finally be on the way.
So, what have we been told? Well, you have the full video below, but in brief; predicted to be set in the Vietnam/Cold War era, the game will have smaller maps to allow for a more intense multiplayer experience and in addition, the much loved ‘Rush’ game mode will make a return.
While of course, none of this can be confirmed, the guy does have enough credibility to pay attention.
What do you think? Did you play any of the Bad Company games? Did you enjoy them? Looking forward to Bad Company 3? – Let us know in the comments!
