Batman Arkham Knight Limited Edition Delayed

The soon to be released Batman Arkham Knight is a game that has had anything but a smooth start for Rocksteady and Warner Interactive. There have been a lot of delays and just last week we saw the cancellation of the Batmobile edition of the game due to faulty figurines. They just didn’t live up to a quality standard that could be sold.
Now the next version of the game is in trouble and this time it is the Batman Arkham Knight Limited Edition sold exclusively by the online shopping giant Amazon. The Limited edition won’t be cancelled, but it will be released with a delay.
Ironically the issue is close to the one for the Batmobile edition, although not as bad. The figurines might be up to the quality standard that is needed, but they lack the CE certification that they need by law within the EU. This is a double face-palm for both companies and I’m pretty sure that there is some screaming on the phones and harsh words in the emails between them and the figuring manufacturers.
The Limited Edition will now ship on the 14th of July instead. Amazon knows your frustrations and will be providing game codes for a download on the 23rd of June so customers can enjoy played the game right away. So the good news for those who pre-ordered is that you can play upon release, but you will have to wait for all the extras.
