Batman: Arkham Knight PC Port Relaunching Within Weeks
John Williamson / 9 years ago
The PC version of Batman: Arkham Knight is nothing short of an excruciating mess and riddled by optimization issues, instability, and graphical bugs. Rocksteady has a mountain to climb to restore faith in the studio and rebuild their reputation. Finally, there is some good news as Warner Brothers subtly included a prediction launch date for the revised PC port in their latest DLC Release Notes.
“Batman: Arkham Knight is based on DC Comics’ core Batman license and is available now for the PlayStation 4 computer entertainment system and Xbox One, the all-in-one games and entertainment system from Microsoft. The PC version of the game will be available in the coming weeks.”
I find it quite difficult to comprehend that the complete shambles of the PC edition will have been fixed in such a short time. After hearing of the widespread problems, I assumed it could be at least 2-3 months before everything was ironed out. Kudos to Rocksteady if they have achieved this but any remaining faults with the game will be heavily publicized. Furthermore, if recent speculation is true, nothing will change the fact that Rocksteady willingly took money from PC Gamers knowing how broken their experience was going to be. This whole saga once again illustrates games in the digital, modern era should not be pre-ordered. There isn’t a short supply, codes are not limited, be patient and wait to hear feedback from others.
How often do you pre-order Video Games?
