Batman: Arkham Knight’s official release date may not have been confirmed just yet, but it certainly looks like Microsoft have just leaked the retail date via their Microsoft Store. The listing appeared on the site, pegging the game for a February release date next year.
The game showed up on the sight as being available from February 24th, 2015. As far as leaks go, this seems to have a lot of merit to it, the release date doesn’t sound unrealistic, it fits in with our own estimates and it falls on a Tuesday, which is often the day that games have traditionally launched in North America.
The release date points to the PC and Xbox One editions of the game, naturally Microsoft aren’t going to be selling the PlayStation 4 release of the game via their own store when they have their own interests to protect, but we can only assume that the game will launch at the same time on any other supported platforms.
Personally I can’t wait to play this game, especially given that the current range of Batman titles have been some of the best action games in years. February 2015 can’t come soon enough!
