DICE promised to provide multiple fixes, one already coming this week, they also promised to provide multiple DLC, one of which has been announced and ,in the latest video released by EA, presents the PC gameplay of the upcoming Back to Karkand DLC.
The players of Battlefield 2 will see some sense of familiarity as the new DLC will be a “blast from the past” thanks to the four old-school maps being brought to the newer settlement.
Along with the four maps, Gulf of Oman, Sharqi Peninsula, Strike at Karkand and Wake Island, the DLC will also feature new weapons, vehicles as well as special assignements.

While no specific date was given, the new content is expected around December. Those who pre-ordered Battlefield 3 will find themselves with the free DLC, while the rest of us will have to settle for the $15.
