You heard me right, the fun is not over, Battelfied 4 is confirmed, or at least another settlement for the Battlefield series is, as we all know names can change until officially announced.
The news comes from EA’s president Frank Gibeau that, during a keynote at the University of Southern California, reportedly said “There is going to be a Battlefiled 4.”
We obviously expected as much, but it makes it only better to know that it’s confirmed.
Gibeau was asked about the statement, but a rep for EA told IGN:
“Frank was speaking broadly about the Battlefield brand – a brand that EA is deeply passionate about and a fan community that EA is committed to.”
Of course, it goes without saying that what most player desire now is some downloadable content, which as we know from a previous report, DICE is decided onto providing a continuous flux of DLC (read here).
After Battlefield 3’s giant success, we can’t wait to see what will be done for the next settlement with all the future technologies at hand.
