Battlefield One System Requirements Revealed

The Battlefield franchise has pushed the boundaries of PC hardware for a considerable amount of time and usually runs pretty well across a wide range of configurations. Sadly, Battlefield 4 was riddled with bugs and had a tendency to crash on a regular basis. However, the other titles were technically very solid and featured some of the best graphics the PC has ever seen. Of course, running any Battlefield game on the highest preset requires powerful hardware, especially when opting for a 4K monitor. Prior to the game’s launch, EA/DICE have revealed the minimum and recommended specification which is as follows:
MINIMUM SPECS
- OS: 64-bit Windows 7, Windows 8.1 and Windows 10
- Processor (AMD): AMD FX-6350
- Processor (Intel): Core i5 6600K
- Memory: 8GB RAM
- Graphics card (AMD): AMD Radeon™ HD 7850 2GB
- Graphics card (NVIDIA): NVIDIA GeForce® GTX 660 2GB
- DirectX: 11.0 Compatible video card or equivalent
- Online Connection Requirements: 512 KBPS or faster Internet connection
- Hard-drive space: 50GB
RECOMMENDED SPECS
- OS: 64-bit Windows 10 or later
- Processor (AMD): AMD FX 8350 Wraith
- Processor (Intel): Intel Core i7 4790 or equivalent
- Memory: 16GB RAM
- Graphics card (AMD): AMD Radeon™ RX 480 4GB
- Graphics card (NVIDIA): NVIDIA GeForce® GTX 1060 3GB
- DirectX: 11.1 Compatible video card or equivalent
- Online Connection Requirements: 512 KBPS or faster Internet connection
- Available Disk Space: 50GB
Given the stunning physics and intense gameplay throughout Battlefield One, the requirements are fairly tame and suggest good optimisation. Any PC relatively modern PC should be able to play the game at a high frame-rate and deploy advanced graphics settings. Although, the lack of information regarding resolution means the recommended specification probably still refers to 1080p gameplay.
