be quiet! has announced its new Dark Base Pro 901, the long-awaited successor the Dark Base Pro 900 once again featuring high-end groundbreaking features with a silent design philosophy.
The Dark Base Pro 901 features be quiet!’s staple silence-oriented and performance-optimized design with changeable case panels to adapt to your needs. The case offers great flexibility and allows for systems to be built in an inverted layout with ease thanks to the detachable top and front brackets allowing for easy fan and radiator installation and comes with Silent Wings 4 fans. Additionally the case features ARGB lighting, vertical GPU brackets and riser cable and an upgrade 15W wireless charger for mobile devices.
The Dark Base Pro 901 is a very large case with support for up to a 420mm radiator and E-ATX and XL-ATX motherboards leaving plenty of room for creativity with your builds. The case also comes with a VGA holder to help prevent GPU sag with the heaviest of graphics cards plus features a cable hider within the stand and next to the motherboard tray for a clean build. Users will also have no issues with GPU length with a minimum of 350mm available with the HDD cage installed and 495mm available without. For storage, the Dark Base Pro 901 supports the installation of one 5.25″ drive and two HDDs or six SSDs out of the box, with the option to expand this with 5x HDD or 10x SSD.
One of the key design features of this case is the ARGB lighting along the front and the PSU shroud to provide subtle illumination to your case. The ARGB lighting can be controlled through the touch-sensitive buttons on the I/O panel where there is also a wireless charger for Qi-enabled devices.
Dark Base Pro 901 is available from June 27 at a recommended retail price of €319.90 / $299.90 / £319.99. The Riser Cable and HDD Cage 2 are available on the same day for €59.90 / $54.90 / £59.99 and €9.90 / $9.90 / £9.99 respectively.
