I won’t lie, this case is both amazing, and a bit of a headache at times, and I had to look at the manual to really get to grips with some of it. That being said, top marks to be quiet! for delivering this with a colour manual, that’s a rare thing, and it showed you in colour coding, which screws move which part, and that’s awesome.
E-ATX doesn’t fit out the box, so you have to remove the cable management cover, remove the HDD tray (right vertical bit), then reinstall the HDD tray inverted and install the optional cable management cover.
Now it fits just fine, although I can now see I didn’t need that cable cover as there’s room still. I’m guessing that’s for the larger boards that have dual sockets and the like, which I didn’t have to hand. Clearly though, they’ll fit in here just fine!
Cable routing is unsurprisingly excellent. I love that GTX 1080 Ti and an E-ATX workstation board fit in here and look… small.
The GTX 1080 Ti is only 267mm long, but you could easily put two of them end to end in here. Flagship RTX 4090 or Quadro cards just aren’t going to be an issue here.
I love that the rear plate can be rotated to show off the GPU too, GPU coolers are so nice to look at and it’s a shame to have them hidden in so many builds.
Need more airflow for the PSU shroud and HDD cages? That silent cover swaps out on the shroud for this lovely airflow one. Furthermore, you can completely remove them to make way for full-height thick radiators in the front too.
Cable routing is excellent, with large clearances on all sides of any motherboard form factor, and deep routing channels behind the motherboard. Honestly, even first-time system builders should be able to get a clean build here easily.
Airflow is very good in this case, or at least, it can be as good as you need it to be. I’ve put the mesh on the front, opened up the top, and the shroud, but block off the right side, so it’s a more traditional airflow pattern and those huge Silent Wings 4 fans are both powerful and quiet even if you push them hard.
The number of fan and radiator configurations is extensive though, so whatever you need from your build, it’ll be supported.
Overall, it’s big, it’s versatile, and it has so many configurations that it may be the last case you need to buy for a very long time, as it’ll grow and change with you over the years you own it.
