Over Power Protection and Max Wattage

What a scary number that is, but this absolute unit of a PSU was capable of drawing a staggering 2251 watts before it decided it would be safe to turn itself off. That’s a lot, and around 41% over the rated 1600W of the PSU, so if you’re worried about occasional power spikes from high-end hardware in your system, this really shouldn’t be a problem. Judging by the components of this PSU, I wouldn’t be surprised it you could draw 2000W from it consistently without issue.
