When it comes to high-end air cooling, there are some pretty compelling options on the market these days. Noctua, Cooler Master and DeepCool all have class-leading air coolers right now, albeit some of the Noctua models are getting a bit old now and their new one isn’t out until 2024. Now it’s the turn of be quiet! to see if they can match the performance of the latest generation of air coolers, no easy task, especially when the latest Cooler Master and DeepCool ones were stylish, quiet and surprisingly cool. However, I have faith in Dark Rock Pro 5, given that the previous four versions were all pretty fantastic in their own right, and this one is improved in virtually every regard.
There’s a new 7 heat-pipe design, two large cooling two, two of the latest generation Silent Wings PWM fans with built-in two-speed fan controller (Quiet Mode and Performance Mode), a rotatable top-cover, ceramic coating and a new and improved mounting system. So, let’s dive in for a closer look!
“Dark Rock Pro 5 offers immense cooling performance and virtually inaudible operation, which is
excellent for heavily overclocked systems and demanding workstations. The Dark Rock Pro 5 is aimed
at users who demand the highest levels of performance but also enjoy virtually inaudible operation.”
