be quiet! Dark Rock TF2 CPU Cooler Review

The be quiet! Dark Rock TF2 gets things off to an excellent start with them providing you with a nice large image of the cooler right on the front of the box work. In not the first time I have leveled this criticism against be quiet!, however, although company branding is always an important factor, I do question the merits of placing a black product on a black background. Yes, you can see the cooler well enough, but it would be a lot more striking (and clearer) had there been a little more contrast in the image.

While the space avialable hasn’t been used to its best potential (with text so small it would be worthy of a credit card application form) be quiet! does at least provide you with a good number of additional images of the cooler and of the key features/specifications of the Dark Rock TF2. – Again though, while good enough, I still feel that be quiet! could do a lot more in terms of their packaging and presentation.

Accessories!

As you might expect, with the only notable exception being a screwdriver, be quiet! provides you with everything you need to successfully install the Dark Rock TF2 onto your system. While not offering much in terms of nice added bonus’, you are at least provided with a generous portion of thermal compound that should be more than sufficient for your fitting and, if you’re the frugal sort, perhaps a second go!
