The be quiet! Light Base 900 series is here at last, their new flagship showcase that’s designed to grab your attention and make a big statement on or around your desk. With a massive case design, a dual-chamber layout, integrated lighting, extensive hardware options, and a unique design, the Light Base 900 has a lot going on.

Extreme Hardware Support

When it comes to extreme hardware, you often need a lot more space in your case. With support for E-ATX and XL-ATX motherboards, room for more than one of the biggest graphics cards on the market, and support for massive 420mm radiators in the top and the bottom of the case, as well as a 360mm radiator in the side, there’s literally no need for compromises here.

Showcase

If you care about showing off your hardware, that’s what the Light Base 900 FX is all about. With its modern retro aesthetic, dual tempered glass windows, and two built-in 1.5-long LED strips that cover the top, front and bottom of the case’s exterior, this is going to be an impressive addition to your gaming or workspace. However, keep in mind that this is a big case, so be sure to measure up your desk before you commit.

Orientation

The Light Base 900 can be positioned in a variety of ways. Easily invert the case or place it horizontally by twisting the feet 90 degrees counterclockwise to remove them, and then reattaching them to dedicated holding spots on the desired side with a 90-degree clockwise turn.

Choose Your Configuration

There are two versions of this case available, the DX and the FX, which one is right for you? Well, that’s a personal choice, but if you want to use your own fans, the DX is the way forward, if you want pre-installed Light Wings, then the FX is right for you. The case comes with two ARGB and PWM hubs, each supporting 6 ARGB devices, allowing you full control over the cooling and lighting in your build.

  • Light Base 900 DX: Ideal for those with existing fans or specific preferences, the DX version comes without any pre-installed fans.
  • Light Base 900 FX: For a more vibrant setup, the FX version includes four pre-installed Light Wings 140mm PWM fans that match the case colour. The three side-mounted fans feature reversed blades to maintain optimal airflow in any orientation.

Builder-Friendly

The Light Base 900 offers more than just aesthetics. It includes features like an advanced pre-installed VGA holder to prevent GPU sag, regardless of case orientation. It even supports vertical GPU mounting (using the optional be quiet! Riser Cable). The Light Base 900 series also pioneers backside motherboard connector support, with cut-outs on the motherboard tray for Asus BTF, MSI Project Zero, and Gigabyte Project Stealth boards, for a cleaner look.
