Complete System

Unsurprisingly, this was a pretty easy PC case to build into. The only stumbling block is that it is quite large and a little on the heavy side, but I can certainly live with that. It feels solid and robust because it quite simply is both of those things.

Unfortunately, I didn’t have a BTF motherboard to hand today, samples of those are like hen teeth in the industry right now, which is a shame. But as you can see, this case does still support the normal method of cable routing, and it does a damn fine job of it too.

GPU support pretty much any, there’s room here for any of the largest graphics cards. Perhaps you will be a little more limited if you put a thicker radiator on the side mount, but with fans there, nothing is getting in the way.

The bottom of the case will take up to a 420mm radiator, or 3 x 120/140mm fans. However, even with nothing installed here, there’s still going to be more airflow being pulled in.

It’s the same at the top, with room for another 420mm radiator or a load of fans.

And then again on the side here, there’s room for up to a 360mm radiator, so really, you’re not short on cooling options here, with 10 x 140mm fans supported throughout the case, you could almost make it into a box-shaped hovercraft.

Obviously, the case is in the vertical orientation right now, so you get to see the lighting on the front and top, but also a subtle bit of underlighting too, while looks fantastic.

If you turn the case on its side, you can have it like a test bench, sort of like an old-school horizontal PC case, but with a more modern aesthetic.

Naturally, my 60cm desk is just too small, but hey, you could just simply buy a bigger desk… a MUCH bigger desk.

Or you can turn the whole case vertical again, but upside down… so you’re not short on options here. Plus, the feet twist off and clip onto the side you need to be the base, so overall, I’m really impressed with the design here, it’s very versatile.

However you turn it, whatever angle you view it, whatever RGB setting you apply, the Light Base 900 FX makes a statement.
