be quiet! Pure Base 500 Case Review

Complete System

Installing all of the hardware in the Pure BAse 500 was pretty straight forward. I mean, it’s a good size mid-tower, so compatibility wasn’t an issue. I had ONE minor issue though. The 24-pin cable was extremely tight passing through the cable routing, and I’m not sure why they left such a small gap. But, it’s not a deal-breaker, I got it done, and that’s that.

The end result though? Super tight and clean cable management throughout. Clean looks, clean airflow, just overall very clean. That’s super important too, given the tempered glass is super clear, so you’ll see all the little details very easily.

One thing I do like is that any colours on your hardware, or RGB lighting, is going to contrast and showcase very nicely thanks to the all-white interior. Then again, even with no RGB, I think it’ll look super clean and tidy.

Space

Big air coolers will fit with ease, as you can see. Then again, if you wanted to use larger AIO coolers, you can mount those in the front, top or even the back. It’ll do just fine with custom loop too.

The Nvidia 1080 Ti isn’t a short card, but as you can see, it’s got more than enough room to breathe here. Plus, there’s loads of width to spare here also.

Tempered Glass

With all the windows back in place, the build is done. Yes, the glass is on there, it’s just so damn clear, it’s practically invisible. Doesn’t it look slick though?
