be quiet! Pure Rock LP CPU Cooler Review

Exterior Packaging
As noted at the start of this review, with the be quiet! Pure Rock LP being a low-profile cooling solution, it’s not exactly surprising that the packaging isn’t overly big. If anything, the compact nature of it is more than a little surprising making you wonder if what’s inside will actually be potent enough to cool a processor (more on that later though).
In terms of presentation, however, the packaging carries the typical branding you would expect from a be quiet! product with a strong emphasis on black. Albeit, this is a factor that I’ve often found a little weird given that their products are also black making seeing them on the box work clearly a bit tricky (hence why I often crank the brightness up in my images when reviewing their products).
In terms of information, however, despite the lack of space on the packaging be quiet! has still done an excellent job conveying all the key product information in a reasonably nice and clear manner.
Accessories!
In terms of accessories, you get surprisingly little. You have two small bags containing the components needed to fit this into your system and you’re also provided with a nice quality product manual. Any thermal paste? Nope, but that’s ok because the be quiet! Pure Rock LP comes with some pre-applied on the contact plate right out of the box. – If you do, however, have your own preferred brand or intend to utilise this in a few setups, having some thermal compound of your own ready will undoubtedly be helpful!
