be quiet! Reveal Their Most Affordable Case Yet at Computex 2019

be quiet!

We’ve seen a bunch of enthusiast PC cases from be quiet! over the last couple of years. They’re often quite expensive, but also superb quality and good value for money at the same time. However, they’re working their way into the wider consumer market now too, with the reveal of their new Pure Base 500 case.

It’ll be available in black, white or grey variants, and still has some design throwbacks to their more expensive models too. You’ll also have the choice of a solid side panel, or a windowed version to suit your needs.

There’s still a focus on silent performance, with a replaceable top panel cover for low noise. Although this can be switched out for a high-airflow panel too.

In the front, it’ll handle up to a 360mm radiator. Plus, it comes with a pair of Pure Wings 2 fans as standard. It’ll fit a pair of large GPUs easily enough, and even comes with a build-in PSU shroud for cable management.

There’s plenty of space behind the motherboard too, offering additional storage mounts, and 3.5″ bays in the base.

Expect it to hit the market in September with an MSRP of 70 EUR for the non window, up to around 85 EUR for the white version with a window.

Dark Power Pro 11

Another year, another evolution of their fantastic Dark Power Pro series of PSUs too. It’s pretty much as you would expect too, with better build quality (if you can believe that), quieter, more efficient, and even more power. A formula for success if I ever saw one.
