be quiet! has today announced its new Shadow Base 800 series adding to its family of PC cases. The Shadow Base 800 is designed to provide the ultimate gaming and computing experience offering plenty of space and optimal airflow with five different models.
The new Shadow Base 800 series is a highly equipped case which comes with 5 different design options for those with varied tastes. The new offerings include the Shadow Base 800 Black as the base model with an entirely black design. The Shadow Base DX 800 comes in white and black but includes some subtle RGB illumination on the chassis. Finally, the Shadow Base FX 800 comes in black and white with the same RGB illuminated chassis as well as included Light Wings RGB fans.
The overall design of these cases remains strong with be quiet!’s design language but also offers a mesh front panel providing ample airflow. It measures in at 550 x 247 x 522 (L x W x H) with plenty of room for large components. The front I/O of the case is reasonable with Two USB ports, one USB-C and separate headphone and audio jacks.
With an airflow focus, this case provides plenty of cooling solutions for your high-end hardware ensuring that performance isn’t throttled by heat. By default these cases come equipped with 3x Pure Wings 3 140mm fans on the Shadow Base 800 Black and 800 DX cases whilst the 800 FX cases come with 4x Light Wings 140mm ARGB fans as well as a hub. Users can add to these fans with room in the top and front for 140mm fans plus users can watercool with up to a 420mm radiator.
Hardware compatibility is strong with users able to install up to E-ATX motherboards with more than enough room for the latest GPUs and CPU coolers plus the 7 PCIe slots are rotatable to allow for a vertical GPU installation. The storage options are plentiful with tool-less 3.5″ bays and 2.5″ bays allowing for an easy installation.
The Shadow Base 800 series is available for purchase from September 5th and is backed by a 3-year manufacturer’s warranty. Visit bequiet.com for more information
