be quiet! is expanding its range of ATX 3.0 compatible power supplies with the introduction of its Straight Power 12 series with an 80 Plus Platinum certification and up to 1500W in power.

The Straight Power 12 is a future-proof power supply with a highly efficient 80 Plus Platinum certification with up to 94% with a standby drain below 0.1 watts and ATX 3.0 compatibility. The unit features up to two 12VHPWR 600W connectors making it perfect for the HOF 4090. The Straight Power 12 is ready to handle maximum power excursions with ease thanks to its Full Bridge LLC topology offering unmatched signal stability. Internally the units feature high-quality 105°C-certified Japanese capacitors which prevent high-frequency electronic noise that can occur during extreme load changes keeping the noise low and even more so with the inclusion of a virtually inaudible Silent Wings 135mm fan.

Wire-Free Internal Design

Internally the Straight Power 12 has a wire-free design with all connections running directly through the PCB. This design allows for improved airflow as the cables won’t be obstructing it ensuring lower component temperatures and a longer lifespan. What isn’t wire-free is the PSU cables which are modular allowing you to give off the illusion of a wire-free PC when paired up with the right case.

Full Set of Protection Circuits

Safety is an important factor when it comes to PSUs to ensure customers can use their PC with confidence. The Straight Power 12 series includes all the available protection circuits including overcurrent protection (OCP), overvoltage protection (OVP), undervoltage protection (UVP), short-circuit protection (SCP), overload protection (OPP), and the often overlooked but no less critical overtemperature protection (OTP).
