Mounting the cooler is pretty straight forward, just place the universal back plate on your motherboard and slot the four long screws through the plate and your motherboard.
Four retention clips keep the screws held in place, making it easier to screw on the other components.
Attach the Intel or AMD arms with two screws on each side and you can simply bolt on the cooler over your CPU. The slim design of the cooler means that you’ve got lots of clearance to work and so far the whole process has only taken about five minutes.
Finally clip the fan back onto the cooler with the retention clips and you’re done. Very easy to do overall and certainly beginner friendly. There is loads of clearance for our RAM modules thanks to the slim design, to even tall heat spreaders shouldn’t provide any problems.
