be quiet! Silent Loop 3 420mm AIO CPU Cooler Review

How Much Does it Cost?

The be quiet! Silent Loop 3 420mm AIO CPU cooler is available now from Scan.co.uk for a very reasonable £124.99, which is a competitive price for such a high-performance AIO cooler, even more so given that this is a larger 420mm one. You can pay over £100 for some 240mm and 360mm coolers, albeit very good ones. The price isn’t what I would call cheap, but you’re certainly getting what you pay for. Keep in mind that it comes with some of the best fans on the market, and a single 140mm Silent Wings 4 fan can cost around £22.99 each, and there are three of them included here.

ARGB

The ARGB lighting on the pump of the be quiet! Silent Loop 3 is a testament to the brand’s commitment to subtle style. Just like their latest PC cases, RGB isn’t plastered everywhere or a bright disco, it’s a nice accent light that is as close to classy as RGB can be. It adds a premium touch without being overly ostentatious. Sure, you may want RGB fans too, but well, there’s plenty of those on the market, and I’ll take superior cooling performance and acoustics all day long.

Cooling

In terms of cooling performance, the Silent Loop 3 truly excels, securing its place among the top-tier AIO coolers available. It effortlessly manages the thermal demands of high-end CPUs such as the Intel Core i9, one of the hottest consumer CPUs on the market, even under the most strenuous workloads. The rectangular CPU block design, while unconventional, appears to do a damn fine job, especially with the newly upgraded pump, and those flagship Silent Wings 4 cooling fans supporting it. Furthermore, the inclusion of an easily accessible refill port is a significant advantage, promising extended longevity and user convenience.

Design

The design of the Silent Loop 3 toned down, with all black fans, fittings, tubing, cables, and headers, it’s pretty stealthy. While I like the RGB pump, I don’t feel the cooler would lose anything if it just kept everything blacked out and stealthy. It’s still an AIO cooler though, so the design isn’t a wild departure, with a slim radiator, two tubes and a pump. However, every element, from the robust radiator to the high-performance Silent Wings 4 fans, is meticulously crafted to deliver optimal performance with minimal noise, and all look and feel like quality products; because they most certainly are.

Should I Buy One?

If you’re looking for a premium quality cooler with class-leading performance, then look no further than the be quiet! Silent Loop 3! I’d buy one of these without hesitation, as it offers a winning combination of exceptional cooling performance, remarkably quiet operation, and a premium quality throughout. The price is competitive too, especially given the overall size of the radiator and the quality of the Silent Wings 4 fans.
