Pricing

The be quiet! Silent Loop 360 is being sold for a price in the region of £120. While that might seem a lot of money for a cooler, this is actually quite reasonably priced. Particularly for a cooler which has a 360mm design. For that price, you might expect better performance and probably rightly so. In terms of a 360mm cooler, though that looks this good and without a single RGB light in sight, it’s still an excellent product. If you were tempted though, you would perhaps be better waiting for a sale to really tip the balance in favor of this in comparison to other competing brands.

Overview

In our experience be quiet! rarely release a bad product and this case is no exception. Although the exterior packaging is rather bland and boring, everything inside is anything but. Once completed and fitted to your system this is certainly one of the most stylish coolers currently on the market. This is particularly so for those who have a disliking of RGB or lighting effects.

Build Quality

It’s clear to see that from top to bottom, the be quiet! Silent Loop 360 has been very well built. What aesthetic choices have been made in the design (such as the logo to the water block) are stylish and understated. This in addition to the fantastic looking Silent Wings fans speaks of a lot of care being taken in the production. The reinforced pipes between the radiator and water block are reassuringly firm, albeit perhaps a little too firm to make things comfortable to shift about.

We would note that as per many be quiet! products, the mounting bracket is not the easiest out there. We would, in fact, go as far to say that they are amongst some of the trickiest. For those with experience in coolers though (or the ability to follow the instructions) installation shouldn’t be too much of a problem and once in place, you have a cooler that can clearly take a lot of punishment.

Fans

Overlooking performance, the Silent Wings fans are some of the best looking out there. It’s really hard to understate that when fitted to the radiator they look absolutely fantastic. Another additional minor styling point is that be quiet! even took the effort to mount the logo stickers centrally adding to the overall excellent appearance. It is just a pity that despite the name, these are not very silent at all.

Performance

For a 360mm cooler, the performance figures were very solid, albeit not mind-blowing. The be quiet! Silent Loop 360 seems to be at its best when overclocked and made to work hard and in those terms, it does better than in standard stock usage. It is hard, however, to get over the fact that despite the performance figures, the noise levels are certainly not what we expected.

Should I Buy One?

In terms of 360 coolers, this is certainly one of the best products available in terms of the price range. In terms of looks as well, this is one of the best-looking coolers on the market and with a total lack of any RGB or LED lighting this will be a very positive factor for those who are not fans of all the colors of the rainbow.

Admittedly, as always, there are better coolers out there. In terms of 360 coolers though, you will be looking in some areas at a lot more outlay in terms of money. If you were, however, looking to try a pretty hefty overclock the be quiet! Silent Loop 360 could be an excellent option for you. When pushed to the limits this cooler not only deals with the temperatures well but looks fantastically impressive while doing so.
