BenQ has today launched its new SW272U and SW272Q, its latest generation PhotoVue professional photography monitors featuring exclusive fine-coating panel technology and certified colour technology.
These two new monitors from BenQ are both 27-inch displays with 4K and 2K resolutions which offer outstanding AQCOLOR technology providing individually factory-calibrated colours giving 99% coverage of Adobe RGB, DCI-P3 and Display P3 colour gamuts. Alongside this is a new Fine-Coating panel which is certified by TÜV Rheinland offering reflection-free performance and a paper-like screen effect making it a great choice for photographers.
Both the SW272U and SW272Q have been certified by Pantone Validated, Pantone SkinTone and CalMan verified for their colour performance and calibration. The hardware calibration is facilitated by Palette Master Ultimate which is BenQ’s exclusive, powerful yet intuitive colour management software. These monitors also provide native support for Calman, Colorspace and other third-party photography and videography calibration solutions.
The new generation PhotoVue monitors also come with a detachable shading hood bridge which can be used on their own as well as in multi-monitor setups. The base of these monitors features a leatherette pad for the placement of digital cameras plus the stand allows for -5˚ – 20˚ of tilt, 30˚/30˚ of swivel, 90˚ of pivot and 140mm of height adjustment.
