BenQ has today launched the SW272U and SW272Q monitors as the successors of the SW271C and SW270C under the PhotoVue professional monitor range for photographers.
The Benq SW272U and SW272Q are 27″ 4K and 2K monitors designed for photographers and videographers employing BenQ’s AQCOLOR technology with factory calibration ensuring high colour quality and precision. The monitors have also been fitted with a Fine-Coated panel which delivers a paper-like screen effect delivering the superb screen-to-print consistency that photographers demand. When it comes to colour accuracy, these monitors feature a wide colour gamut with 99% coverage of Adobe RGB, DCI-P3 and Display P3 with a ΔE ≤ 1.5 colour accuracy.
Paired up with these monitors is an optional shading hood bridge for standalone screens or for multiple hooded monitor setups. The included stand features a leatherette base for safe placement of digital cameras or other devices plus offers tilt, swivel, 90-degree pivot and height adjustment for maximum ergonomics. For connecting other devices, there is a USB Hub with one USB Type B, two USB 3.1 and a USB-C with 90W power delivery plus for cameras, there is an SD card reader built in.
The SW272U is available for purchase now while the SW272Q arrives later in July for the following MSRP.
