BenQ Released the GV31 Rotatable Wall/Ceiling Projector

BenQ is well known for its fantastic displays and projectors, and now they’ve come up with its latest innovation, the GV31! The GV31 looks to put a unique twist on home entertainment with its Full HD 1080p ceiling projection system and built-in Android TV with Netflix natively supported.

What BenQ Had to Say

“The brand-new GV31 gears you up to be moved in a new way,” said Conway Lee, President of BenQ Corporation. “Combining unique ceiling projection capability, certified Android TV, and true enthusiast-level audiovisual performance, BenQ ceiling projectors revolutionise the way people enjoy their favourite content at home.”

It’s a clever system, the little upright unit sits on a rotatable base. This allows you to point it at a wall, as you would a regular projector, making it ideal for the living room or gaming space. Then you can turn it around and point it upwards, allowing you to lay down on some beanbags, on the sofa, or even in bed, and watch a movie on the ceiling.

Hardware

Expanding the promise of improving contemporary lifestyles, each ceiling projector provides rich integrated audio, up to 16 W 270-degree 2.1-channel sound with extended bass on GV31. On top of this, GV31 can also double as a wireless bluetooth speaker, with a battery life of up to 3 hours of video playback or 6 hours of music.

Offering viewers stunning life-sized visuals with an emphatic soundtrack, the ceiling projectors provide immersive experiences in any space like never before. Whether you want to stream your favourite shows, movies, or even supersized video games, BenQ ceiling projectors provide endless enjoyment with fully certified Android TV including Netflix for neatly integrated all-in-one entertainment anywhere, anytime.

Equipped with modern USB-C connectivity for content transmission, DisplayPort output (DP Alt Mode), and power delivery (PD inputs and outputs), BenQ ceiling projectors open up new possibilities for your quality of life. With limitless projection angles and Android TV, the ceiling projectors ensure the most comfortable streaming experiences on the bedroom ceiling, a cosy corner, or anywhere at home.
