BenQ has launched their new GP500 4k LED smart projector combining authentic digital cinema colour quality and theatrical sound performance with intelligent installation features in a sleek, modern design.
This smart projector is equipped to display a stunning true 4K UHD image which is enhanced by HDR10 as well as a wide 90% DCI-P3 Colour gamut. With BenQ’s auto colour calibration, the LED colour accuracy will be preserved for a long time. The Unit itself is an elegant and simple design that blends in well with modern living places and features advanced installation features. The 1.3X big zoom lens produces 100″+ big screens from less than 3m projection distance. The unit is aided with automatic focus, automatic 2D keystone correction, screen fit, and object avoidance to deliver professionally squared images in any space.
The GP500 utilises four ideally balanced full-range speakers facing in four directions to create a full 360° sound. The audio is augmented by a cinema-grade bass reflex cabinet design to fill the room from any vantage point. With the award-winning treVolo psychoacoustic tuning with independent DSP, the GP500 creates immersive 3D sound. Each speaker can be individually configured.
The unit features smart Android TV streaming apps such as prime Video, Hulu and Youtube and supports airplay and Chromecast. On the rear of the unit are various ports which allow for limitless entertainment options through dual HDMI 2.0, and USB 2.0 as well as audio options through ARC/SPDIF multichannel audio ports. The unit also connects to Wi-Fi and Bluetooth through dual-band 2.4/5G.
