Award-winning German manufacturer be quiet updated their Silent Loop cooler line with a new 360mm radiator version. The larger size gives users plenty of cooling headroom for higher TDP CPUs. Previously released be quiet Silent Loop coolers include a 120mm, 240mm and 280mm radiator version. The larger 360mm radiator however, is highly requested according to be quiet so they have released it. Not everyone wants to void warranty by delidding so might as well keep temperatures in check with a larger cooler.
Be quiet did not skimp on the quality, partnering up with Alphacool and using copper radiators for the Silent Loop. The block is low-profile and is a reverse flow pump.
Since the radiator is copper and the block is copper, there is no metal mixing which could corrode the material. Even if users expand the loop, unless they don’t mix metals it will be fine. This is much better than typical AIOs which use much cheaper aluminum radiators.
In keeping with the company name, be quiet outfits the Silent Loop AIO with their Silent Wings fans. These are 4-pole motor rifle bearing units that operate up to 2,000 RPM at only 36.9 dBA. It is also PWM so it adjusts automatically for even quieter performance most of the time.
