Open world third-person action-adventure game Mafia III is a highly anticipated title that’s being developed by Hangar 13 and published by 2K Games. What we know for sure about the next Mafia game is that it will be released at some point in 2016, but 2K Games has not released any information about an official release date just yet. However, it’s not exactly uncommon for large retailers to provide hints regarding the release dates of these games. Best Buy, for example, has listed the game as available starting April 26, and even though this is nothing more than a rumour at this point, the release date would make sense for a game that’s been in development since 2012, albeit with a series of breaks caused by 2k Czech’s restructuring.
At the time of writing, 2K Games has not commented on this rumored release date, and it’s not likely that its representatives will issue a statement before the official announcement. However, if Best Buy turns out to be right, it would mean that we’re only looking at about four more months of waiting time before we’ll be able to get our hands on this promising title. By the way, do you think that Mafia III will live up to its expectations in terms of story and gameplay?
