The last of our bunch today we have the affordable and super stylish Silverstone GD05. This chassis is a great choice for a HTPC, but with micro-ATX support and space for a full-size ATX PSU, you can easily use this for a gaming system. It’s also good a really nicely design front panel that should look great in any home entertainment setup.
On the interior, you’ll find ample room for a large PSU, a pair of graphics cards and loads of cooling fans. One problem however, it’s a little short for our graphics card, just another 8mm and it would have fit, but this is what happens when I pick up one of the longer graphics cards on the market!
One thing is for certain, this system is going to be nice and cool. We’ve got a single 120mm intake fan on the front left and two more intake fans on the right that should provide a lot of positive air pressure; great for keeping dust out of the chassis.
A very nice looking chassis, great cooling capabilities and easy to work with; just keep GPU length in mind.
