Best FPS Gaming Mouse Buying Guide 2022

Performance

Without a doubt, these are all pretty fantastic gaming. The only one that may have had a hard time was the ASUS mouse, as it’s got a 6200 DPI sensor while all the rest are around 3x that. However, while its imaging resolution may have been lower, it held up well enough in my mouse gauntlet. However, I would say I did notice the other mice were somewhat smoother to track. That being said, none of these mice suffered any prediction, angle snapping, acceleration or deceleration issues, so for gaming, they all get a big thumbs up from me.

The mouse gauntlet is simple enough, draw a straight line, an angled line left to right, then right to left. A fast circle, mid-speed, then a very slow circle while trying to stay tight to the inner line. Then a quick zig-zag while trying to fill the box and not go over too much. Counterintuitively, I’m not looking for perfection in those lines either, as I’m not a robot, I want the mouse to be representative of my movements. A bad mouse would try to straighten out the lines causing smooth sections and stepping, while the circles would become jagged, and the zig-zag would over or undershoot the target. Of course, there are no issues like that here.
