Best FPS Gaming Mouse Buying Guide 2022

Last month, I presented you with my MMO Gaming Mouse Showdown, pitting three of the mouse advanced gaming mice on the planet against each other while I binged my way through Elder Scrolls Online, and they were all pretty fantastic. However, in the last few months, I’ve been heavily getting into Apex Legends. I totally hate myself for finally falling into a “free to play” game that I’ve totally spent about 30 quid on thus far. And I also ripped on the battle royale concept as it just seemed to be 1, stupid, and 2, everywhere for a while. Alas, I’ve found one I like. My son and I play Arena Duos for about two hours every day, so regardless of if I loved or hated the game, some family bonding time is rarely a bad thing.

While I’ve been doing this, I’ve been trying out a few new gaming mice, trying to find which ones hold up, and which ones don’t, and honestly, I think I’ve found five really killer gaming mice for you to consider. Which one is right for you? Well, that’s up to you, but hopefully, I can guide you into making a more informed purchase!

I have five mice, I gave them five nights each, giving me a good ten hours of playtime on each to see how they stack up. So which mice did I choose? Check out the list below then let’s move on to some performance.

  • NZXT Lift
  • Corsair Nightsword RGB
  • SteelSeries Prime Mini Wireless
  • HyperX Haste
  • ASUS ROG Strix Impact II

As a child still in my 30's (but not for long), I spend my day combining my love of music and movies with a life-long passion for gaming, from arcade classics and retro consoles to the latest high-end PC and console games. So it's no wonder I write about tech and test the latest hardware while I enjoy my hobbies!
