Bethesda sent out an interesting invite to the press for their E3 media showcase briefing which includes an artwork depicting “Bethesdaland”, a theme park dedicated to the recent game properties they have on hand. Near the entrance, there is a Fallout themed park, with a watery Dishonored land beside it. There is also an Elder Scrolls land at the back centre, with a very obvious Doom land right beside it and a Quake themed land right below that. There is even a Prey themed land on the left side.
Curiously, however, there are two lands that have an “under construction” label which possibly hints at two surprise showcase announcements scheduled for unveiling at E3. Although Fallout VR is expected to be playable as a demo at the Los Angeles event, many suspect that Bethesda will be unveiling more surprises considering Fallout 4 is not exactly a new game.
One possible title is a new Wolfenstein game which will be a sequel to The New Order. Bethesda has been teasing about that sequel for a while and many have been waiting for it, so that is likely. The other could be a sequel to Evil Within, which Bethesda has stated previously that it sold enough that it warranted a sequel, although they did not disclose more beyond that. A job listing for working on Psycho Break 2 (the title’s name in Japan) was spotted in NeoGAF forums last month so E3 could be used by Bethesda to officially announce it.
