BIOSTAR produces a huge range of motherboards and caters towards the budget sector in a superb manner. Their latest creation, the H110MH Pro D4 is built on the H110 chipset and supports DDR4 speeds up to 2133MHz. Furthermore, the motherboard incorporates BIOSTAR’s Tough Power Enhanced power delivery for improved stability and enhanced longevity. They’ve also employed AudioArt capacitors to keep everything running smoothly. Another great feature is the motherboard’s audio chipset which revolves around Nichicon capacitors and Hi-Fi amplification. This should create a good listening experience for a motherboard in this price range. Sadly, I haven’t received information on which codec is being used but it’s probably the Realtek ALC887 or something similar. The Super LAN Surge Protection (SLSP) offers superb anti-static protection and prevents damage from occurring by electrical surges. Apparently, BIOSTAR’s implementation is four times better than other manufacturers. The “Transient Voltage Suppressor” protects the PCB from electric charges and provides additional peace-of-mind.
The motherboard also features two USB 3.0 ports, RJ45, two USB 2.0, VGA, HDMI, and PS/2 sports. There’s a single PCI-E x16 slot to house a discrete graphics card. Judging by the image, you can connect up to four SATA devices which should be more than enough for a H110-based system. Unfortunately, BIOSTAR didn’t unveil a price but it should be within the reach of most users on a very tight budget.
