BIOSTAR Expands Its Motherboard Range With 4 New B760 Boards

BIOSTAR has today announced four new motherboards for the Intel B760 chipset catering to the needs of the office and simple home computing with an impressive suite of features and functionality.

These motherboards powered by Intels 12th and 13th gen processors provide a seamless computing experience with high performance and lower power consumption. The four new boards available are the B760MX2-E and the B760MX2-E PRO both with DDR4 and DDR5 variants. These motherboards offer exceptional memory support with up to 128GB on the two PRO models with four DIMMs and up to 64GB on the non-PRO models with two DIMMs. All of these motherboards feature PCIe 4.0 technology ensuring maximum resource utilization as well as PCIe M.2 4.0 offering lower latency and the high 64 Gb/s bandwidth for casual gaming, home entertainment and industrial applications.
Separating the PRO series boards is the inclusion of USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C designed to offer a higher data transfer rate and more plug-in capabilities. Furthermore, the integrated Debug LED and 2.5Guard protect your system from potential issues and electrical surges plus the PRO boards feature a VRM heatsink. The B760MX2-E Pro D4 also only has one PCIe 16X slot and one M.2 slot compared to the DDR5 equivalent B760MZ-E PRO which has two of each.
