BIOSTAR have today announced several new motherboards in its Silver series line which they claim to “synergize well with the latest Intel Core i7-14700K processor”. The new lineup includes three B760 boards as well as a B660 board all capable of accompanying Intel’s latest processors.
The B760A-SILVER is the top dog in this lineup with an ATX form factor. It is designed for those who require top B760 performance and future-ready upgrades with support for up to 192GB of DDR5 and support for PCIe 5.0. It’s included PCIe 4.0 M.2 slots and USB 3.2 Type-C ports to ensure fast storage and rapid file transfers.
The B760M-SILVER is an M-ATX motherboard designed for those who require the capabilities of the B760A but in a smaller form factor. It’s an ideal solution for those building a high-end HTPC or an efficient, quiet workstation.
The B760T-SILVER is an ITX motherboard for those who desire an even more compact motherboard. It supports up to 96GB of DDR5 memory and can provide a versatile choice for small systems for a variety of different use-cases.
The last in the new lineup is the B660T SILVER which is an ITX motherboard using the last generation B660 chipset. Despite that, it is still capable of hosting the latest processors and offers a cost-effective platform without compromising on performance. It features support for up to 64GB of DDR4 memory as well as the latest PCIe 5.0 standard alongside a PCIe 4.0 M.2 slot for fast storage.
