Biostar Officially Launches X370GTN and B350GTN Mini-ITX Ryzen Motherboards

Biostar has been ahead of the pack when it comes to launching mini-ITX Ryzen motherboards and have been teasing them ever since the embargo dropped, but now they have been officially launched. The Biostar Racing X370GTN and Biostar Racing B350GTN are feature-packed small form-factor motherboards supporting the latest AMD Ryzen AM4 motherboards as well as AM4 compatible APUs. Both motherboards are equipped with dual DDR4 DIMM slots, 4x SATA 6G ports, PCIe M.2 (mounted at the back of the motherboard) port, USB Type-C, USB 3.1 Gen 2 (rear IO) port and RGB LED support via dual 4-pin 5050 LED fun zone on-board headers.
Both the Racing X370GTN and B350GTN motherboards use a 5+2 phase VRM design for the CPU+SoC and feature full unlocked Ryzen CPU and memory overclocking. A Realtek RTL8118AS controller is used for Gigabit LAN functionality while a Realtek ALC892 8-channel audio provides 5-analog audio jacks in the rear plus front panel headers. An HDMI connector and a DVI-D connector are also available for on-board graphics use when an APU is installed. There is a single PCIe x16 slot so users can install a graphics card if they wish to do so as well, for a compact AMD Ryzen-based gaming rig.
To make installation convenient on such a compact form factor, the on-board headers are situated along the edge so the two LED headers are right beside the CPU fan header at the top right beside the system fan header. The CPU VRM MOSFET heatsink itself has RGB LED function that can be synched with LED strips attached to the LED headers on-board.
