Acoustic, Power & Thermal Performance
Acoustic Performance
Since the Biostar P1 runs passively, it makes no noise what so ever. This means you can have it as part of your quiet workspace, or your home AV setup, without the risk of it disturbing your peace.
Power Consumption
While the performance on this system isn’t setting the world on fire, the power consumption is incredible. Overall, this system may not be fast. However, the amount of power it uses to generate performance is tiny! To put this into some perspective, my 100W subwoofer also uses around 4-7w.
Thermal Performance
The stock temperatures are quite warm at 47c, but keep in mind it’s a compact unit and passively cooler. Furthermore, the temperature only got as high at 56c under full load. Both of these scores are equally impressive for a passive cooled and compact unit.
