Biostar Racing Z370GT7 Motherboard Photos Surface

VideoCardz.com has an exclusive look at the upcoming Biostar RACING Z370GT7 motherboard. It supports the upcoming Intel Coffee-Lake processors unlike existing Z270 mainboards. That is despite having a physically identical socket. Most manufacturers appear to be content with a simple palette change for their Z370 offerings, but it seems Biostar is approaching it differently. Gone are much of the racing theme aesthetics of their Z270 and Z170 line. Including the carbon fiber pattern and checkered flag silkscreen. Instead, the new RACING Z370GT7 is sporting a black and gold theme.
New Look for Biostar?
The new color theme is similar to the Biostar X299 motherboard shown at Computex. Although the pattern this time uses more straight lines, and there are a lot more gold. Biostar is not completely abandoning the RGB LED features however, with the IO cover having multiple LEDs lining the side. What is also interesting with the Z370GT7 layout is how the SATA ports are not at an angle. All six are right below the 24-pin power and beside the DIMM slot. Only the CMOS battery is present where the typical SATA port location is. There are two M.2 slots available as well, both with built-in heatsinks that match the color scheme.
