Biostar has one more mining motherboard added to their lineup. This time it is the H110M-BTC, a micro-ATX solution supporting Intel’s 6th and 7th Generation processors.
The H110M-BTC provides six PCIe slots for crypto-mining, despite the smaller form factor. This includes the PCIe x16 slot, and two pairs of PCIe x1 slots side by side with the 6th PCIe x1 slot at the bottom. Like all previous Biostar mining motherboards, the H110M-BTC has an auxiliary PCIe power header using MOLEX connectors, ensuring that the PCIe slots get enough power aside from the the one fed from the bus.
The new H110M-BTC also supports up to two DDR4 memory sticks, 32GB in total running at 2400MHz. For display output, there is an HDMI port and a VGA port. The audio subsystem is handled by a Realtek ALC887 HD audio codec with three analog ports in the rear IO. The Gigabit LAN controller is also from Realtek, an RTL8111H.
This motherboard is ideal for beginners and those who wish to try out mining before investing further. Biostar provides many other solutions for those users as well, including an 8x PCIe and 12x PCIe slot motherboard.
