BIOSTAR Reveals HG10MS and H610MHD D5 Motherboards

BIOSTAR has today revealed two new H610 chipset-based motherboards for both DDR4 and DDR5 memory modules and designed to meet the needs of both home users and office users needing a motherboard that simply delivers optimal day-to-day performance.

BIOSTAR H610MS and H610MHD D5

Both of these new motherboards from BIOSTAR use the H610 chipset which is aimed more towards the budget market and targets itself towards home PCs and Office PCs that don’t need much power. These motherboards are separated by the use of either DDR4 or the newer DDR5 with two DIMM slots capable of hosting up to 64GB of DDR4 or 96GB of DDR5. Both of these boards support USB 3.2 Gen 1, PCIe 4.0 and 3.0 interfaces for graphics cards and M.2 drives for fast storage solutions. These boards also feature other features including AI FAN, Debug LEDs for fan speed control and for easier troubleshooting when things go wrong.

Rear I/O

The H610MS with DDR4 is equipped with a standard I/O featuring HDMI, DP, USB 3.2 gen 1, four USB 2.0 ports, a dedicated GbE LAN port and a trio of audio jacks for 7.1 channel audio. the H610MHD D5 offers a similar I/O however swaps out the DP for a DVI port as well as increases the USB 3.2 capacity with a second port. Both of these boards also come with a PS/2 keyboard and mouse port for legacy connectivity, many older PS/2 keyboards are still kicking about and work perfectly fine.
