Biostar has unveiled a new line-up of motherboards, designed for gamers, and based on the Intel B250 chipset. The Biostar Racing B250GT5 and B250GT3 motherboards support Intel’s 7th-generation Core processors (LGA1151 socket), have native support for Intel Optane Memory technology for use with M.2 storage devices, and native support for DDR4-2400 memory (up to 64GB capacity), plus Dual-BIOS technology. The boards also feature Biostar’s Vivid LED DJ technology and two 5050 LED Fun Zone headers to allow fully customisable colourful onboard lighting.
“Indulge in the most realistic armored warfare experience with BIOSTAR and World of Tanks as they bring gamers closer to the actual battlefield with superb performance,” Biostar says. “Enjoy the BIOSTAR advantage in World of Tanks when you buy a BIOSTAR RACING motherboard, VGA or gaming peripheral where you will receive exclusive invite codes for premium gift packs for World of Tanks Asia server players. Charge into battle with the BIOSTAR advantage.”
The Biostar Racing B250GT5 and B250GT3 motherboards will be priced $109 and $79, respectively. The B250GT5 comes bundled with a Biostar Vivid LED fan. Release dates for the pair are yet to be announced.
