BioWare Spends Over 200,000 Hours Testing Dragon Age: The Veilguard on PC

BioWare has invested more than 200,000 hours testing the PC version of Dragon Age: The Veilguard. The studio emphasizes its commitment to delivering a top-tier experience for PC gamers, given that the franchise originally debuted on this platform.

BioWare shared that “getting the PC experience just right was crucial to us and we created a dedicated team to focus on PC,” highlighting their dedication to the platform by making PCs a significant focus during development.

Extensive PC-Specific Features

Dragon Age: The Veilguard offers numerous PC-specific features, including native support for PlayStation 5 DualSense controllers, Xbox controllers, and traditional keyboard and mouse setups. Players can also enjoy seamless switching between these input methods during gameplay. Additionally, BioWare has incorporated support for 21:9 ultrawide monitors, adjustable FOV, uncapped frame rates, and full HDR support.

Moreover, the game will include DLSS 3, FSR 2.2, and XeSS upscaling options, as well as ray tracing settings. These features ensure that players can tailor their experience to their specific hardware, making The Veilguard accessible across a wide range of PCs. BioWare also plans to reveal more PC features closer to the game’s launch.

Dragon Age: The Veilguard is set to release on October 31, offering a fully optimized experience for PC players.
