Final Thoughts

How Much Does it Cost?

BitFenix Enso RGB Tempered Glass Mid-Tower Chassis is available now from Overclockers UK for just £79.99. Not only is the price pretty great for what you get, it also comes in two colours, black and white. Obviously, we had the black one, but I would love to get the white model in for a build one day.

Overview

The BitFenix Enso gets so much right and so little wrong, which is obviously a good thing. When I say it gets things wrong, I really am clutching at straws. However, the CPU PSU cable routing hole is just far too small. Obviously, you can work around it, as I did, but maybe making the chassis 3mm taller would make that cable routing easier. The fan hub is a bit limited, only working the RGB lighting when a proper fan hub with RGB control would be even better. Again, not a fault, but a consideration. Then there’s the… I’m just kidding, that’s all the faults.

So Much Win

Then there’s all the great stuff about this chassis. For starters, the RGB is built into the front panel in a really stylish way. It’s customisable, and with Aura sync, you can do so much with it. To add to that, the extra 120mm RGB fan in the back is great too, as is the 120mm air intake fan on the front panel. The slide-out dust filters give everything a much more premium vibe, and show that some thought went into making a stylish and practical chassis. I especially love the PSU filter, which slides out the left side, rather than the back; never understood why more manufacturers haven’t done this yet.

RGB and Glass

It certainly ticks the two big boxes for modern PC gaming chassis. The RGB is superb and really sets the chassis apart. However, even with the lights off, I think the design is pretty unique without going too obscure. The addition of tempered glass is an easier one, and it gives a great view of the system interior. Decent cable routing, hidden storage bays, and a PSU shroud all help you create a clean looking build with relative ease too.

Should I Buy One?

RGB and a big window aren’t for everyone. However, if they are for you, then the Enso is a fantastic looking chassis. A unique front panel, a tidy interior, a thoughtful design, and a competitive price. If that’s not the makings of a great PC case, nothing is.
