A Closer Look – Interior
Internally the unit is FSP based and quite similar if not totally identical to the FSP Aurum CM Gold Series platform.
The primary hold up capacitor is Rubycon made and rated for 390uF, 450V and 105 degrees celsius operation.
The rest of the capacitors are also Japanese made and rated for high temperature operation.
AC line filtering is abundant and features a modest amount of shielding. Note also how BitFenix have used a custom black PCB compared to the normal green PCB FSP use on this platform.
The included fan is provided by Protechnic Electric with part number MGA12012HF-A25. This fan is rated for up to 2400 RPM.
