BitFenix has not been as busy as they used to be in the PC market recently, but all that looks set to change at Computex 2016. Firs tup, we have their all new Alchemy 2.0 cable sets, allowing to you quickly customise your system with a range of bright and colourful cable extensions. They’re available in 40 and 60cm sets, and 12 different colour combinations.
There’s also a few new PSUs from them, starting with the Whisper, which as the name might suggest has a focus on quiet performance thanks to that 140mm large BitFenix fan in the top, lots of ventilation and sturdy build quality. You’ll find 80 Plus Gold efficiency from all five units in the range; 450, 550, 650, 750, and 850W.
Then we’ve got the more affordable BitFenix Formula Bronze, a hard-wired 80 Plus Bronze rated unit that is designed to be more affordable but still tick all the right boxes for what a decent gaming build would require. It comes in 400, 500, 600, and 700W variants, offering up enough connectors for a well-rounded system, a 3-year warranty and a 120mm silent fan.
