Final Thoughts

Total build time on the Phenom was 35 minutes, which for me personally is quite long. This is mostly due to it being tricky to work within a small chassis, having to remove the 5.25″ drive bay, removing the middle hard drive bay, and dealing with the somewhat compact yet capable cable routing space.

Our GTX 560Ti is a pretty chunky card but it has no trouble at all fitting in the Phenom, my only concern is the lack of side ventilation, something that was prominent on the Prodigy left side panel.

Everything looks neat and tidy around the back and cable routing is doing a great job of keeping airflow clear, presentation is hardly an issue given the chassis has no window panels.

Around the back you can better see how cable management is handled behind the PSU. It all looks great here, but once the right side panel is fitted and the USB 3.0 cables, HD audio cable not to mention the hard drive cables should you have more drives than we do, things will get very crowded very quickly and the use of extra short cables and cable ties could give you a big advantage.

With the right side panel back in place we see the build looks neat and tidy from the left side, almost a shame we don’t have a side window.

The Corsair H100i has loads of room, the pipes are under a little strain, but nothing they can’t handle.

All panels back in place and it looks just like it did when we took it out of the box, clean and tidy.
