Bitfenix Raider Mid-Tower PC Chassis Review

Taking a look at the front of the chassis we can see that it sports 4 optical drive bays with removable covers, you can also see some of the air intake holes behind the grill and of course the fantastic looking Bitfenix logo down at the bottom.  It’s a pretty clean looking design but thanks to some gentle curves and good quality materials it really stands out.

Down the side of the case, things look pretty simple, while there isn’t a whole lot going on here everything has a premium look and feel to it making it easy to tell this is a quality product from the moment you set eyes on it.

There are plenty of interesting things going on along the top however, as you can see the whole thing has a slight curve to it and a full length air in take under that grill for extra cooling.  Along the left hand side we have your headset and microphone sockets and a rack of 4 USB 3.0 ports.  Over on the right we have your power and reset buttons as well as the fan power control slider, a really nice feature that has been integrated really well I think.

Around the back you will notice there are two water cooling pipes at the top, further down from there we have a recessed rear fan, which helps give you more clearance next to the CPU, then we have 7 ventilated expansion slots and the bottom cut away from mounting your power supply.

Along the bottom of the case we have two separate  air filters, one for the power supply and the second for any additional cooling you wish to install in the base of the chassis.  You can also see the mounting points for the feel that came included in the box.
