Down the left side of the case we see a large side panel window with rounded corners, giving a nice view of the chassis interior and the Stealth Cover. The outer edge of the chassis features three rounded corners on the front and top panels This gives the chassis a nice flowing shape from most any angle. The top panel raises above the actual frame of the chassis, more than enough to hide a series of fans underneath without taking up space within the chassis its self.
The right side panel is a little less exciting, features just a plain black panel.
Around the front we see some nice clip in filters on the left and right sides of the chassis. These run from the bottom of the front panel to the back of the top panel. The whole of the front panel is finished in SofTouch material, giving is a smooth yet slightly grippy rubber feel that looks really cool under natural light, something than tends to be lost under camera lighting conditions. The holes for ventilation are cut straight through the SofTouch and its nice that they haven’t just stuck a plastic mesh here, keeping the whole thing looking very uniform and sleek, even the 5.25″ bay covers are finished with the same material.
The BitFenix logo is slightly raised from the front and finished with an Aluminium texture which shines bright over the soft power black finish of the SofTouch material.
The top I/O panel features a pair of USB 2.0 ports, 2 x USB 3.0 ports, HD Audio connections, two LED indicators, a large power button and a tiny little reset button. A little extra trim around the USB ports would have been welcome, or even a flip up cover/lid but otherwise things feel robust and reliable here.
The top panel features SofTouch material just like the front panel, this again helps with the uniform flowing looks of the chassis. There is plenty of airflow here too and this will help with any top mounted cooling fans and radiators.
Around the back we see there is a 120mm BitFenix fan installed, but you could also install a 90mm fan here if you wish. There are 7 ventilated and reusable expansion slot covers, two cable / water routing holes fitted with rubber grommets and finally a bottom mounted PSU cut out.
The bottom of the chassis features four hard rubber feet, these will help keep things nice and stable, but should also reduce any vibration noise from your system.
