Yesterday it was announced that the next game in the long line of Call of Duty games would be Call of Duty Black OPS 6. Now I know I probably shouldn’t get my hopes up but the Black OPS franchise has had some of the best Call of Duty games ever excluding 4 of course that was just god-awful.
The publisher has not released any information about the game other than the announcement trailer we received yesterday. The trailer itself doesn’t provide much detail, as it was a live-action teaser that may be hinting at a deeper mystery within the game.
Rumours suggest the game will be released around October, which is typical for Call of Duty titles. Therefore, there’s a high possibility we might hear more news about the game later this month or next.
Aside from that, we don’t know much about the game except that it’s being developed by Treyarch, who has generally received positive reception for their work on the Black Ops franchise. This could also be a crucial opportunity for Call of Duty to redeem itself, as recent titles have been met with considerable criticism from the player base.
