It’s a bold move to develop and release a MMORPG these days. The market is quite saturated as it is, and with WoW still reigning supreme, getting on top is quite difficult. We’ve seen promising titles such as WildStar spiraling downwards, and even Bioware’s Star Wars MMO has faded somewhat. Still, the creators of Bless Online want to launch their game for a wider audience. After initially releasing it in Asia some time ago, the game is now scheduled to arrive on Steam in 2018. Actually, the title will be redesigned extensively, as many of its core components will be improved. NEOWIZ recently published a teaser trailer on the Bless Online Steam page, which you will be able to see below.
So what makes Bless stand out from the crowd? There are two different factions to choose from named Hieron and Union, and there are seven playable races available. The world is described as “massive and seamless,” and it includes tameable creatures, dungeons, and quests. PVP duels will also be a part of the game, but the 100v100 RvR siege battles are what really caught my attention. None of the above features are particularly groundbreaking, but with proper implementation, the game has a chance to carve a path in the incredibly competitive MMORPG scene.
